Inside Stories is a short animated documentary developed through the work of the Reconciliation Programme in Hydebank Young Offender’s Centre, offering first-hand stories of young people in prison in Northern Ireland. The film features actual footage from within the prison, using animation to preserve the anonymity of the storytellers. Rare glimpses into the background lives, the daily routines and the future dreams of these young people are provided. The film serves to humanise the characters, letting them speak for themselves and allowing the viewer space to reflect on these unique perspectives. A reconciliation and integration partnership project by Edgehill Theological College.
